Last month we hosted 12 worldwide dinners on the topic of TRANSFORMATION. From Buenos Aires to Paris, Caracas to Nairobi, Belize to Zurich, women gathered to share and listen to each other’s stories.

What does it mean to truly transform?

In…

Last month, Dinner Confidential hosted 10 dinners on the topic of PURPOSE. Spanning continents, women (and a group of men) from Amsterdam to Buenos Aires, Nairobi to Stockholm, Edinburgh to New York gathered to share and listen and hold space for each other.

First, a story from Dee, host from Toronto/New York…

“As a child, I’d hear friends proudly declare at the wise young ages of 5/10/15, “When I grow up, I want to be a doctor/lawyer/dancer/astronaut, etc”. I was never one of these kids (or even adults!) who had laser focus on what my role in life should be…

Last month, Dinner Confidential hosted 9 global dinners on the topics of ENVY and JEALOUSY. Women around the world — from Singapore to Rome — spoke with courage and listened to one another with compassion, as we each shared our journeys with these powerful emotions.

Envy and jealousy are some of the most provocative and intimidating feelings we’ve explored so far (and we’ve explored some very taboo topics like anger, sexuality and grief). Even many of us hosts — who are seasoned facilitators — felt uncomfortable holding a space for this conversation. But we made it through and we are…

Last month, we dove into the heart of human connection and explored the topic of VULNERABILITY in 9 cities around the world. From Lisbon to Vietnam, Edinburgh to Nairobi — women spoke with courage and listened to one another with compassion, as we each shared some of our most vulnerable stories.

What is vulnerability anyway?

Researcher and author, Brene Brown, defines it as “uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure.” Many of…

Such a wide range of factors came into play when talking about pleasure, they have since lingered in our psyches as we try to make sense of them. It’s like we have opened the lid off a box we have been carrying around for years, only to find the contents inside were not that familiar at all. …

Last month, we hosted dinners on “Self-Confidence” in 14 cities around the world. From Amsterdam to Caracas, Lisbon to Vietnam, women gathered (many virtually) to share and listen to our experiences on this topic. Here is what we learned.

But first, a personal story from euni, Dinner Confidential host in San Diego, USA:

I’ve always been inconsistent with my relationship and connection with my own body. Mostly because I spent so much time examining others bodies to compare mine to that I wasn’t living in my own skin. Last year I came to a place of admittance that I carried…

Last month, we hosted dinners on the topic of “Guilt” in 13 cities around the world. From Miami to Buenos Aires, Annecy to Singapore, women gathered (many virtually) to share and listen to our experiences on this topic. Here is what we learned.

But first, a personal story from Roxanne, Dinner Confidential host in Edinburgh, Scotland:

“We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and…

Last month, we hosted dinners on the topic of “Fear” in 13 cities around the world. From Singapore to Nairobi, Amsterdam to San Francisco, women gathered on computer screens across the globe to discuss how they experience and relate to their fears. Here is what we learned.

But first, a personal story from euni, Dinner Confidential host in San Diego, USA:

I’ve always felt fearless as I have always associated fear with a feeling of safety in my body or my courage to take action on ideas. …

But first, a personal story from Julie, our Dinner Confidential host in Rome:

“I only started thinking about Pleasing and Boundaries thanks to Dinner Confidential. I grew up in a family where freedom prevailed. My parents’ response to pretty much everything was: “Do whatever makes you happy, love.” …
